Editorial Responsibilities and Publication Standards

SciForce Publications is committed to efficient, confidential, ethical, and timely editorial handling. Editors should apply consistent scholarly standards while ensuring that decisions are based solely on the quality, originality, relevance, and integrity of the submitted work.

Core Editor Responsibilities

  • Assess manuscript relevance, originality, scientific quality, and suitability for the journal.
  • Select qualified and independent reviewers with appropriate subject expertise.
  • Maintain confidentiality throughout submission, review, revision, and decision stages.
  • Ensure that citations, research methods, data presentation, and ethical requirements are appropriate.
  • Identify potential plagiarism, duplicate submission, conflicts of interest, or research misconduct.
  • Support timely editorial decisions and constructive communication with authors and reviewers.

Editorial Decision Principles

  • Editorial decisions must remain independent from commercial, institutional, personal, or external pressure.
  • Manuscripts should be judged on scholarly merit, relevance, methodological soundness, and ethical compliance.
  • Author nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, political opinion, or geographic origin must not influence decisions.
  • Reviewer comments should be evaluated critically and used to support balanced editorial judgment.
  • Conflicts of interest should be disclosed and managed appropriately.
  • Corrections, concerns, and suspected misconduct should be handled carefully and transparently.

Editorial Board Policy

The SciForce Editorial Board works to protect the reliability and integrity of the scholarly record. Editors are expected to uphold research ethics, copyright, confidentiality, peer-review quality, and timely editorial handling. Where concerns arise regarding consent, authorship, plagiarism, data integrity, ethical approval, or other forms of misconduct, publication or editorial decisions may be delayed until the matter is reviewed and resolved appropriately.

Editorial Articles

Editorial articles present informed perspectives, expert interpretation, commentary, or analysis on scientific, academic, professional, or societal topics relevant to the journal. A strong editorial should define the issue clearly, provide credible supporting evidence, present a balanced argument, and, where appropriate, offer practical recommendations or future directions.
